Venting
Hey everyone!
I had a awful weekend and needed to share. First of all I had a busy work week last week, I worked 6 days straight, had off Thursday, then returned to work on Friday. I could not wait to have off this weekend. Well Saturday finally came, and it was awful! For starters hubby and I come home from work Friday night around the usually time of 11:30 PM, to find that our heaters were not working! We decided to bring out our heavy blankets and wait till morning to call the landlord. We already had a busy day planned for Saturday, we had to do laundry, go food shopping, I needed to get my nails done, and then later that night we were heading to the club for my husband to DJ, now we had to put everything off and wait till the heating guys showed up! Well we finally headed out the door around 1:00 PM! So much for a little nap before heading out to party. But that party is what kept us going all week, knowing that when Saturday came we could relax and let loose. Well after the long day off running around, my anxiety decided it was going to act up! Hubby and I arrive at the club at normal time, around 7, things started okay, but by 9:00 I was heading home! My anxiety got so bad all I wanted to do was leave! So now I am here at 11:00 Saturday night all alone writing in my blog! Now all want to do is lay down and sleep but I can't, I have to stay up till 2:00 so I can go pick up my hubby!
Well now I am going to watch some tv, hopefully next week will be better!

Merry Christmas Everyone!
Just wanted to take a moment here and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. My hubby and I will be visiting my mother this year. Along with my children, my one sister, her child and grandson. We were hoping that my grandmother would be able to make it but sounds like she will be unable to this year. She is in a nursing home 2 hours away, and my aunt was suppose to bring her down, but my aunt has come down with the flu and will not be going anywhere now for Christmas. Everyone else has to work Christmas Eve and would be unable to make the trip up to get her. So I will be very sad thinking of my grandmother, this is her first Christmas in a nursing home, and it looks like she will be there all alone with no family to visit her. Also this will be the 9th Christmas without my grandfather, and it still doesn't get any easier.
Well I am going to stop writing for now, lol, this is one reason I put off writing about Christmas. Now I have to go dry my eyes and blow my nose! But I just wanted to wish that everyone has a the Merriest Christmas they can!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!
Hello Everyone! First of all I have not had any of my members contact me for the contest. So since participation has been extremely low I am going to stop running the contest for now. I just that it was a good way to give back to members who stay with me every month.
Things have been hectic for me lately, I started a new part- time job last week, but being it is a nursing home, there is a lot of training I have to do. I have been a certified nurses' assistant for over 10 years, but the State says x amount of training is needed when you start as well as throughout the year! It is always the same day in and day out, never changes, lol. So, with all the training, I will be full-time for about 2 weeks or so. But I love working with the elderly. I am in the Alzheimer's unit, and I love it! At least when they are mean and nasty to you that don't know it! lol. There are some residents that are just plan rude for the all of it, and that is why I prefer working with the Alzheimer's and Dementia patients. Also, with them every day is a new day, literally, they have no idea what they did the day before.
So, anyway, that is why you have not seen me much on Twitter, the forum, and in chat. As soon as I get my regular schedule, I will return!
